If you know anyone who loves cute and colourful things, this bird is for them! The Splendid Fairywren is a beautiful bird found along the coast of Australia. A colourful little bird, the splendid wren is a beautiful sight to behold. Colourful and delicate, it flits through scrub and is so tiny and so quick that often you see them simply due to their coloured feathers!

This wooden ornament was inspired by the gorgeous colours of the Splendid Fairywren and as such it is not an exact representation! It features an original, signed acrylic painting of a Splendid Fairywren, hand painted onto a wood slice from an old gum tree, as such it may have cut marks still in the bark. It has been sanded to allow it to stand on it's own, or you could put it on a stand if it suits your décor better!

It would make a lovely addition to your home décor or a beautiful gift to a friend.

This hand painted wood slice ornament has been gloss varnished for protection, shine and ease of cleaning.

In keeping with our philosophy of reincarnation and recycling, this wooden ornament has been made from salvaged tree branches so you can rest assured that this item does not contribute to more deforestation.

Not recommended for outdoor use (the piece can be damaged).
